Clinic for Orthopaedics and Accident Surgery: Sports Department

Dear visitor,

The Clinic for Orthopaedics and Accident Surgery at the Waldkrankenhaus Eisenberg offers patients with sports injuries and shoulder disorders an expert, comprehensive diagnosis and therapy.

Our main focuses here include the treatment of people with disorders of the shoulder, knee or upper ankle joints. For these patients, we have organised sports surgery hours.

We know: after an operation, young and active people want to return quickly to their everyday lives and actively participate in sports again. For this reason, we rely on minimally invasive operating methods and arthroscopic procedures (arthroscopy).

We additionally provide performance diagnostics for hobby- and competitive sportsmen. The „Future Team Jenatec-Breckle“ of SV Gera, an unique bicycle youth project, also benefits from our experience.

Sincerely,

Specialist Registrar Dr. med. Stefan Pietsch
